New SoNaRR 2025 webinar series launches this September

A new series of webinars is being launched this autumn to help partners and stakeholders explore the evidence and practical insights from Wales' State of Natural Resources Report (SoNaRR) 2025.

Running from September to December, the free online sessions will examine some of the key themes in the report and explore how evidence can support policy, planning, decision-making and practical action across Wales.

SoNaRR 2025 highlights the significant pressures facing Wales' natural environment and the need for coordinated action to tackle the nature, climate and pollution emergencies. The report also identifies practical pathways for change across areas including food, energy, travel and the built environment.

The webinar series will provide an opportunity to hear directly from Natural Resources Wales specialists, ask questions and explore how the latest evidence can help inform your work and support action on the ground.

What to expect

Each webinar will focus on:

  • What the evidence tells us
  • Why it matters
  • What is already working
  • The drivers of change and opportunities for action
  • How the evidence can be applied in practice

Sessions will include a moderated Q&A, with recordings and supporting materials made available after each event.
