What we're doing?

Natural Resources Wales gives notice that it proposes to carry out works to improve flood defences on the River Usk in Caerleon, NGR ST341902. The proposed works will involve the maintenance and strengthening of a series of flood defence embankments and walls adjacent to the River Usk.

Environmental impact

Natural Resources Wales considers that the improvement works are not likely to have significant effects on the environment and does not intend to prepare an environmental statement in respect of them. An Ecological Survey Report and draft Environmental Action Plan have been produced.
