Publishing your proposed plans

During the approval process we will publish an outline of your application on our register of forest management plans for 28 days.

This gives people the opportunity to view and comment on your proposals.

Issuing your approved forest management plan

If we approve your forest management plan, we will issue a certificate of approval for tree felling and a land management agreement for you to sign and return.

The land management agreement is a legal document that explains the terms and conditions linked to your approved forest management plan.

7.

Extend your forest management plan for years 5 to 10

To extend approval of your forest management plan to cover years 5 to 10 from the original approval date, you must complete and submit a year 5 review form.

If you don’t submit a year 5 review, your regulatory approval ends at the date of expiry in your land management agreement. To continue any works, you must re-apply for a new forest management plan.
