Audio trails and folk tales

Audio trails

Audio trails help you learn more about the history or other features at some of our places.

They have been designed for use when you are visiting one of our woodlands or reserves.

At some places, there are numbered posts which tell you when to play each section of the audio trail.

Before you visit, download the audio trail to your smartphone from the link at the bottom of this page.

You can also download a PDF file of the script for each audio trail.

Folk tales

Most of our folk tales are based on Welsh folklore which is local to some of our woodlands.

Other folk tales are stories that bring to life natural and cultural heritage features.

You can listen to the folk tales either before your visit or when you are at the place.

You can download the folk tales from the links at the bottom of this page.

You can also download a PDF file of the script for each folk tale.
